This summer we want to hear what’s on your mind! We’ll be exploring some of the big questions you have, as we have fun, eat freezies, play games, and serve our community!
With the lifting of covid restrictions, we are easing our way back into normal by alternating in-person and online events starting July 7. This will allow youth, families, and volunteers who may still be reluctant to come to in-person events to still stay connected with us. It also allows Kyle and the youth leaders to get back into the swing of running in-person events again after a year and to figure out what in-person ministry will now look like as we anticipate moving to being fully in-person in the fall.
All of our in-person events will be held at the church, and we aim to be outdoors for as many as possible. As of July 1, the provincial government has lifted the requirement for masks, and as such we will not be requiring them for our events. However, we do encourage everyone to consider continuing to wear masks indoors at the church as it will protect those unable to receive vaccines, lower the stress level for many, and remove barriers for them to attend. Masks are also still recommended by the latest Canadian government guidelines in contexts like what we have at youth group.
